Peter O’Brien is proof that age is no barrier.
After seeing his son David competing in triathlons, Peter took an interest in running and ran his first marathon at age 50.
Now aged 72, he has run marathons all over the globe including Paris, Chicago, Tokyo, and Berlin and has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.
Peter has shared his running journey with his wife Lynette who supports him in his training and travels with him when he competes. Peter also trains with his daughter Michelle and son David.
We spent a few days with Peter and his family in their home town Deniliquin, Victoria, filming this video story for the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
